Kulture '77, with real name Udo Chinenye Bethel is from Abia state, A Presbyterian that was born and raised in Festac, Lagos. He attended sacred heart college & Crawford university.
According to Kulture,he was inspired mainly to start making his own music when he watched the music Video of MI's safe in 2009, among other reasons.
He refers to the genre of his music as AFRO Rap/Hiphop. He added that It is a combined genre of AFROBeat and RAP for the African people to groove in a hip relativity. Kulture mentioned Ab-soul, Lil wayne, Nas, Jesse jags and Baba Fela as his music icons.
"My major challenges in the music business are mainly financial, funding to promote my music and having the listeners acceptance of rap music" Kulture added.
In the next 5years, Kulture sees himself as an inspiring icon for other upcoming artistes, an emblem of Festac and a ray of hope for the African people.
