Real name: Buba Barnbas. An indigene of Bauchi State, grew up in Jos, Plateau state. A graduate of Computer Science from Bayero University Kano(BUK)
A professor as a father and the mother is a nurse.
Classiq got signed to Finesse Entertainment in 2012 and eventually moved to Lagos.
He Released his debut Mixtape "Sarki" in 2014. Shortly after, he got featured in Vectors King Kong remix along side Phyno, Reminisce & Uzikwendu, which its safe to say was his breakthrough, and prompted his hit single "Anfara", which is Hausa for "Its has begun".
Classiq is slowly becoming a household name in not just the north, but nationwide.
He recently released the video of one of the tracks from the Mixtape titled "I love you" starring the ambitious and talented actress @Rahamasadau.
The video that became Viral online because of the decision made by a Kannywood association MOPPAN to expel the actress from the Hausa film industry, alleging immoral act in the video.
The reactions of their fans and the general public became a huge media fuss.
The video trended on YouTube for days.
