XL Spiff: UK based Nigerian international artist

XL is a singer, songwriter, producer and instrumentalist. XL started music from a very young age by teaching himself how to play drums and then started playing drums in church and school. This is where XL discovered his love for music and production and then took a further step in his musical journey by converting his detail for sound into production and laying his vocal on any beats produced.

XL is majorly influenced by reggae music, afrobeats, RnB which are the sounds he grew up listening to. XL is a massive music lover and appreciates all genres of music and he reflects it in his music by creating a sound which combines all his favourite music genres. XL' music is influenced by the likes of chronic, burna boy, protoje, bob marley, fela kuti,  and much more. XL's style could be described as a blend of reggae, dancehall, Afrobeats and a touch of R&B.

XL has been making his own sounds for almost 6 years and started releasing music about 2 years ago.  XL's artistic talent soon gained major popularity and attention, therefore leading him to sign a deal with Black Pearl Inc as his management/record label. XL has since taken a step further to breakthrough  the industry by releasing various hit singles. XL released "mistakenly" in the beginning of the year which gained hundreds of thousands of views/likes on social medias, airplay on radio and tv stations within the UK and Nigeria. XL also followed up with audio singles for his fans with "money talks" which was repeatedly played on Bbc radio.
                                                                                                                 
XL's work has also caught the attention of international artists such as gyptian, w3strn, whom all loved his sound. As a result, XL was opening act for gyptian during his UK tour and also for W3strn. This also helped XL to create an afrobeats remix of WSTRN's number one hit single "IN2" which was verbally approved by W3strn for release because they loved XL's  afrobeats remix of the song.
